I have a sense of humor. I am active, energetic, reasonable, and independent. I like to travel. I went to Europe alone. I purchased a Euro-Pass for seventeen countries. I started out in Germany. I managed to see parts of Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and Switzerland. I got tired and came back to California. Now, I have to go back to see the countries I missed on my first trip. I enjoyed traveling alone because I made my own schedule each day. I slept when I felt like it. I didn't have to listen to any complaints, criticism, or whining. I went to Jamaica with my mother and my ex-husband. They refused to take part in the planning of the trip. I made the reservations and planned three weeks of activities. Once we got to Jamaica, they decided that I was a controlling witch. They went off together to see the island. I took my children and took a plane to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I am the last man standing, so to speak. My mother passed away. My ex-husband had dementia. I can go any where I please and do what ever I wish. I am always sketical about writing about myself. What in the world can I say to compete with a world full of women far more beautiful and much younger. So, I decided to use my limited story telling skills to share a little something about who I am and what I am like. I went to India with my family a few years ago on Krishna's birthday. A painted cow rubbed my back with her painted horns. I was quite surprised. Everyone said it was a sign of good luck to come. The cow chose me. The Orca whales migrated on a Sunday morning. I was standing on a cliff overlooking the ocean on the Island of Sand Point, Alaska. This is one of the most breath-taking sights I have ever experienced. They lept through the air and splashed down on to to the sea. In Venice, Italy I spent a few days floating around on the gondolas watching the sun set and rise. I bought a four dollar pass! I was surprised to see the canal located directly in front of the train station. A sense of humor is the one trait I value over many others in this life. It helps us live through terrible moments, lightens the burden of regret, poor manners, ignorance, and bad moods. LUNA2
