Recently retired, I have had a variety of occupations from labouring to office and sales positions. My education was to a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering. Health and fitness is important to me and now I am retired I intend to get back into jogging, swimming and gym-type excercises all of which I enjoy. My passtimes include reading, anything from fiction (mainly crime/thriller/whodunnit) to science/medical and newspapers. Authors I enjoy are Bill Bryson, Lee Child, Kathy Reichs and Sue Grafton. TV and movie likes are similar along with comedy. My general demeanour is happy and cheerful and I have a good sense of humour.

It is hard to define who I am looking for as attraction varies with everyone but there must be physical attraction to start off so must be slim to 'attractive' and preferably about my height. Hair colour is not so important but I tend to prefer blue, hazel or green eyes. How any relationship develops will be determined by our responses to each other. Must be non-smoker. I'm looking for someone I will feel comfortable with who likes physical contact, walks on the beach
