I'm an optimistic, sometimes goofy, down-to-earth, and fun-loving gal BUT the most telling thing about me is that I am genuine and sincere and I can't be any other way. I value open and honest communication, but I do not have to talk on the phone or in person for hours to validate my relationships. I have friends for that! (friends for those of you fantasizing at this point.) I deal with difficulties in relationships in a calm and loving way, so if you like or need drama, hissy fits, and crazed reactions from women in order to feel loved, stop reading this right now mister.I am a self-sufficient girl (i mean, ahem, woman). I own a cute little house, have a great career,and wonderful friend and not much as family just my mom. I think my independence can be intimidating to some. I see it this way- I love my life and it is fulfilled just the way it is. However, I do realize that a special someone can (and probably will) enhance it even more, and this is what I hope to eventually find. And when fate brings us together, it will take time for me to become comfortable with the idea, as I am not one to rush into life-changing commitments or responsibilities (i.e. marriage or ESPECIALLY kids!). No matter how my feelings may sway me early on, I have learned that there is no harm to giving most things in life just a little more time...And so, that being said, I would like to meet and spend time with people I enjoy being around.
