I like to think that I am smart, savvy, loving, kind, friendly, open and honest. And I really do think that I am a kind person, and that the world has become far too unkind and uncaring. I love all music, am good with pets, kids and teenagers, but have no kids of my own and have never been married. However I have been engaged twice, and know the score, having done this whole internet dating thing for six years now - way too long!

I KNOW in my heart, that there is one lady out there for me, somewhere...

For those who want to know about my religious views, I do believe in God and I am a member of the United Church of Christ but do not get time to attend often. I would never presume to judge you for any reasonable religious beliefs or if you are nonreligous.

I'm a 53 year old website designer and book editor who now puts most of his efforts on his liberal news and politics website, Evans Liberal Politics, which has a lot of entertainment features. I love music and use it to craft a mood I want to be in. I also love a music DVD or a movie at home or at a theater. Driving  around northeast Ohio is fun for me, too. And I enjoy digital photography, meals eaten out or cooked in, and watching the seasons change outside my window. Most of all I love my wonderful 86 year old Dad and my doberman pinscher Ruby.

I love to cuddle and hold you and be affectionate, so you should be interested in an affectionate relationship, because that is a must for me. I've been through a string of three girlfriends who didn't enjoy that and it is not a fun situation for me.... please be real about your intentions. However by no means is sex itself at all the main thing I am looking for, I mean within the context of a committed relationship, any longer... what is important is the love and caring and sharing of affection.

I've had a couple living in my house for about a year now. They were brought up under hard circumstances and I had a lot of trouble with them. I have tried to show them Christian love and understanding and we are trying to make a fresh start, with some new rules. Please say a prayer for us as somehow this working out is a sort of life task for me that I need to do or else I will not feel myself a caring person and will have given up on them like everyone else in their past did.

I am looking for an actual soul mate and someone to live the rest of my life with. You wont find a more caring, honest, open and affectionate man anywhere.

I do smoke and I spend quite a bit of time on the computer as you can imagine with a news website owner.... but I have time and determination to put into a few good friendships and I'll make all the time in the world for the right lady. I've been waiting for the right woman to come into my life, but I am trying to be patient. I've been with this internet dating since the beginning of 2005 and it's getting really old. I just want someone to love and be loved by... who enjoys being physically affectionate, kind to each other, and wants to work for life together in love and understanding. She needs to be able to tolerate a smoker, somebody who spends a lot of time on the computer, and who is a liberal.

I really hope you'll say a prayer for the drug users and the homeless people out there who need our CAREFUL help and understanding. Really, I do want to say, I know (I KNOW) you can't be too careful, but most of these people are on the way down the drain and need people to go to bat for them.
