I am quite professional-oriented. Much of what I do is concerned with my work; teaching and research in business management. I really like my job. However work is admittedly not all in life. I live in beautiful port city on the western coast of Norway, but wish to share my experience of this nature with someone special. I like bicycling and hiking, but I'm very bad at skiing. I keep in shape through outdoor activities and in winter I swim at a sport center. I also go to the gym about 3 times a week and really enjoy that! I was born in San Francisco, so I suppose it is because of my Californian childhood i never became a proper skier. I am a very international person. I like to learn foreign languages and i like to travel.I also enjoy many types of music from all over the world including jazz and classical music. I own a guitar but cannot play on it. I like to dance as a pair, dances such as Argentinean tango, Salsa and Swing/rock 'n roll. Since I lack a partner I am out of practice the last years, but would gladly dance with a woman I fall in love with and marry. I am easy going, "laid back" and casual in all ways as any true Norwegian born in California, and my friends tell me I have great sense of humor, always seeing things from the bright sine and seeking a solution to any challenge in life. I never stress, but try to organize if the everyday situation gets chaotic as it often gets in my work. At home all is peaceful since I am single, and i do not go out so often... I suppose a lovely woman by my side will change this? I do occasionally go to concerts, and I am also in the leadership of two different professional organizations outside my work. I can be talkative sometimes, and sometimes I'm very quiet. It depends on who i am with...

I believe in some myth, and that in life a goddess exits just for me! I truly seek a woman for a life-long and deep and interesting relationship, someone who may be my spice of life; a communicative and just simply and importantly nice woman. Someone to dance with, go to the gym with, go to the pool with, travel, go to concerts, cook meals together, or just sit at home and be happy with each other being there close... and in a seemingly boring context feel satisfaction. She should be mature, educated, have a notion of career, interested in "life", passionate, and proud to be herself and at the same time loving... so I have a goddess to worship!
