I have been a passionate surfer and sailor all my life. I live in Santa Cruz, California, USA, a small seacoast town on the Monterey Bay of the Pacific Ocean between Los Angeles and San Francisco. The climate here is the same as in the Greek islands in the Mediterranean, in Montevideo, URUGUAY, and Valparaiso, CHILE. I have not changed in any basic way, including my body, since I was 20, except that now I have a lot more experience from traveling all over the world, not just as a tourist, but actually living, working, sailing, and surfing in different parts of the world. But my experience has been gained just by watching and observing, learning the way a little child learns before being able to talk, without forming verbal opinions, preconceptions, or judgments. My name is Richard; but, in Latin American surfing and sailing spots, they began calling me "Ricardo" or simply "Rico" so that has become my NickName, even in Hawaii where I travel a lot to surf and sail. I have worked at many things and am fairly well educated. For a while I was a Lecturer in Logic and Philosophy at the University of Toronto, McGill Univ. in Montreal, Quebec, the Univ. of Victoria on Vancouver Island, Stanford Univ., and the Univ. of Calif. Currently, I do contract paralegal work for lawyers, specializing in international parental kidnappings; but I choose the lawyers for whom I work, the cases on which I work, and the hours I work. So that leaves me a lot of free time for travel and fun. I have a good reputation for my work, so I have no problem making enough money to do what I enjoy. I love dining out in fine restaurants, swimming, sailing, going to nightclubs, dancing to bands (particularly the Brasilian samba and Argentine tango), and traveling. I'm looking for a woman who also has not changed in any basic way, including her body, since she was 20, who loves children and is ready to be pregnant, who loves learning, beaches, oceans, traveling, dining out in fine restaurants, having fun and dancing in all ways (both public and private), and who is neither prejudiced against, nor embarrassed by, dating an older man. I know that some young women would not even consider it. So I'm going to find out who would not even consider it, so that I can strike them from my list and focus on those who would. I just want to see her having fun. I am confident enough in my experienced ability to please a woman, to give her what she needs and desires, that I would not feel threatened by another man. My experience has lifted me above the petty jealousies of younger men, and other childish behavior. My attitude is: Let him try to please her, and we'll see if she returns to me, not overconfident or certain or jealous or possessive, just confident. I understand that it is easier to read and write a foreign language than to speak it, because anyone can confer with a dictionary when reading or writing, and one cannot do that when speaking, or listening to one speak, a foreign language.
