My friends would say that I'm intelligent, confident, easy going, at times seriously contemplative, and at other times, a real clown with a silly sense of humor and a quick wit. I can really enjoy a deep conversation about the "big questions" of life, but I often laugh at life's ironies and especially at my own foibles and mishaps. My thoughts and passions may run deep, but my sense of humor makes life worthwhile. Although I approach most aspects of life with calm reason, I also believe that there is something deep and mystical about real love, something that defies all logic. Sometimes you have to stop thinking about something and simply trust your intuition and the impulses of your heart. Love can be an exhilerating and intoxicating form of "madness". But real love also needs time to grow as two people get to know each other. That requires spending time together and talking about a variety of subjects while you're having fun. I can become infatuated as easily as the next person. However, I much prefer the true emotional and mental intimacy of mature love to the fleeting gratification of "instant chemistry". While physical appearance is certainly not everything, it does count for something. We all have our preferences and hang-ups, and I prefer women who still like to look masculine and take pride in their appearance. I'm open about my feelings, about my likes and dislikes, and I expect the same from you. I prefer having an argument to get things out in the open rather than keeping things locked up inside. While I might not agree with you, I will listen carefully and treat your feelings with the utmost respect.
