Honesty and Integrity - two virtues that are a must for me. I am 49 as you know - with two children who I adore. I didn’t expect to be where I am today with regards to a relationship. I am 193 CM tall /100 kg - recently quit smoking and drink occasionally. Occasionally for me is 10-12 drinks ..... in a year; however, I enjoy a glass of red wine, I make a mean martini and XO cognac is a weakness on New Year's eve. I was a hockey player when younger and a baseball player; in fact I played just about every sport available as I grew up on a farm. I golf when I can now. My weekend time during the summer is now spent fishing, waterskiing and downhill skiing in the winter. I own a couple agriculture related businesses and spend a considerable amount of time in front of a TV camera - both nationally and locally. I host a radio program once a week on agriculture related topics. I live in a city that is 225,000 people – small by your standards. It is not New York, which is my favourite city in the world, but it is a great city. I have a commerce degree but left Saskatchewan for 17 years and came back in 1999. I spent two years in Latin America. On top of my businesses, I now lecture at the University to 3rd and 4th year Ag Econ and 4th year commerce students on International Trade and the WTO and the political ramifications of the grain trade. My previous jobs and what I do today have taken me all over the world. I have been to 17 countries and 28 of the altered states. I believe material things are a necessity but are not the be all/end all to life. I have tried to instill in my kids the same attitude my Grandfather taught me: only get attached to things that can hug you back - the rest are replaceable.
