I hope to meet a kind and sensitive woman with whom I can share a life of common interests. I love outdoor activities such as hiking and camping at the same time I have a strong interest in Art, Music and Literature. Everywhere I lived I took an active part in supporting and developing the local community. In Australia I am a volunteer (unpaid) bush fire fighter while in America I was the mayor of a small village. While I have no children, I would be pleaased if my partner has a family. I am an active man who is still working and does not expect to retire for several years. I have lived in four countries before I returned to Australia. I have not followed a conventional careeer path but my wide range or work experiences allows me to be valued by employers. I would like to form a close friendship with a lady who could become my life-long partner.

My new friend would be a lady who cares about other people. She is sensitive, honest, open to change and new ideas and fully supportive of me but she would be willing to provide me with advice if I was likely to do something unwise. I am not always right. She is intelligent and curious about developments in society and the arts. She takes an active interest in current affairs within the country and the community. She would be interested in what is happening in Australia as well as her home country. My new friend will enjoy my company in many settings and I will enjoy being with her.
